WHAT DOES VALOR HOCKEY MANAGEMENT DO?

 

  • We work with players aged 13-20 who are serious about playing at the Prep, Junior, or College level. We work directly with the families of players to build a structured honest development path.

  • With scouts in our back pocket, we are able to get players to camps across all leagues spanning from the USHL, NAHL, BCHL, NCDC, and EHL. With hundreds of coaches at the ready to be contacted, we do all of the outreach to coaches for the player. Clients are able to request film sessions at their convenience and sign up for our A.I powered data analytics program that provides them with statistical insight that can’t be found on the score sheet.

  • It all begins with the consultation. A direct conversation with the player and their family that discusses the players goals and dreams in the sport of hockey. This will determine the fit, and if it is deemed a good fit we move on to step two. Step two is the player evaluation, we use our film program to garner as much data as we can on the player to understand and assess the next steps. This leads to the recruiting strategy, set up platforms, identify target programs, and begin coaching outreach. We stay involved and are available 24/7 for check ins and conversations.

Jake has a resume that most hockey players could only dream about. With over 250 juniors games played, Jake has a wealth of experience and understands what it means to be a player at that level. Jake played in the USHL, NAHL, EHL, and played Division 1 hockey at Stonehill College. Jake has been apart of Valor Hockey Group for over a year now and has made an impact on countless families. His ability to understand players is unmatched, he is available and ready to help and assist at any given moment. Jake is a certified video coach, he even has has own business where he provides in depth analysis and gives players real insight on their play. PETE POULIANAS

PLAYER REPRESENTATIVE

Pete has a wealth of experience being around the game of hockey his entire life. Pete played NCDC hockey for the Mercer Chiefs becoming the captain in only his second season with the team. Pete is extremely well connected in the youth hockey scene, and has made it his mission to stay connected. Pete is very good at developing relationships between players and himself. Pete joined Valor Hockey Group about 6 months ago and has made an impact on several families by providing them with service the Valor Way. Pete is also a certified video coach with Jake Larusso’s company and is an expert in the field of video. There is no one better in the business at placing players than Pete!

What you get when you sign with us

  • Video sessions are run by Jake and Pete at your convenience. You as the client get to set up these 30 minute film sessions from games of your choice. We use a state of the art program to watch individual shifts and game clips. This is followed up by us submitting your clips into our A.I program that gives a detailed analysis using statistics and visuals to find out where player efficiencies are strong, and where they lack. Results come the day of.

  • We as the Advisors directly communicate with your family to learn your schedule, and your willingness to travel to certain arenas for camps. We ask you questions about how far you’d be willing to travel, how often are you willing to travel, and if there are any specific places in mind you’d like to travel to. We as the Advisors get together to discuss a plan that works for your schedule that fits your players long term goals.

  • When placing a player and contacting coaches in regards to a player we come prepared. By this point we have player film, and we understand the player better than anyone. We are able to perform outreach to coaches a lot which are colleagues who trust our word and trust that the film depicts an accurate representation of the player. The outreach is done to a multitude of teams often layered similarly to how a student applies to college. We have reaches, we have hopefuls, we have definitely, and we have fall backs. This sets up our player perfectly for success as they continue to grow as a person and player.

  • One of the advisors will email you a google form with instructions on what to send to us. Beginning with all of the details on the players elite prospects, and finishing with a questionnaire to understand what this player is like off the ice. We also send the player to two different recruiting platforms that we have developed close relationships with so they can organically push their team further. Finally, a phone call is initiated that will be the beginning of a long and happy relationship

  • We offer the same rate to every single player. The rate does not have to be paid in full, it can be broken up for as long as the player needs. The term varies. We have one, two, and three year plans where the longer a client stays the cheaper the rate becomes. A player can opt out at any time they want for any reason they want, the fee is non refundable.
